We have introduced several new features into Nrgstream.com as requested by our customers. 

• Time Zone Adjustments : You can now covert all streams to your selected time zone or select specific time zones for specific streams. 

• Stream Factor Adjustments : Any stream can now be adjusted by a defined factor. Multiple, divide, add or subtract a specified value from each data point on a stream. Apply specified adjustments to streams to factor in transmission costs, line losses or exchange rates.

• Use our new MAPLINK functionality to explore the North American power internet landscape. Regional links are provided for Associations, Operators, Control and Transmission areas. To access additional links for Data and Outage information, use the MAPLINK tab after you have logged in.

• As always, adjustment features are completely personalized and saved with your account settings. All new features will be reflected in the soon to be released Tymeworks version 2.5.

Stream Additions

We have just added streams that represent the new generation units reported at the Power Pool of Alberta. If you are subscribed to Western Canadian Power Professional package, you should now have access to the following unit generation and reserve streams :

• Mahkeses, CUPC Oldman River, Bear Creek

We have recently introduced coverage of the Natural Gas Storage numbers reported weekly by the Energy Information Administration.

NGX - Natural Gas Exchange Information Available

If you are a member of the Natural Gas Exchange with either a read-only or a trading license, we can deploy our coverage of all NGX trades and settlements to your account. Standalone Nrgstream Natural Gas accounts are also available on request. 

Tips & Support

How do I receive alarm notifications to my PCS or pager?
To setup your account for wireless notifications, do the following:

• Change your Tymeworks account email address to the email account specified by your service provider. The service must be capable of receiving internet email. Common forms of addressing utilize the phone number, then the providers domain (ie. 403-703-2233@msg.telus.net or 780-333-8877@pcs.rogers.com). 

  • To change In Tymeworks, select the Tools/Options from the Control Center menu. After changing the Email Address, click OK to save your changes. For each stream that you want to be notified for, you will need to Enable notification when Tymeworks is not is use on that stream properties dialog.

  • To change in Nrgstream, click your PROFILE tab. After changing the email address, also change the Email Format to Text/Plain. Click SAVE to save your changes. 

• This will work for any event or stream alarm in Tymeworks or Nrgstream. Please keep in mind that you will not be sent notifications while you are logged onto Tymeworks.
